Day 1 — September 28, 2022
Arrive in Calgary anytime today and make your way to the
Delta Calgary Hotel Downtown for check-in.
Renowned for its genuine hospitality, the Delta Calgary Downtown is ideally located in downtown Calgary at the intersection of the city's business and cultural districts. Enjoy convenient access to all venues through the Calgary Skywalk system and public transportation, which makes exploring the city on your own that much easier. When you return at the end of the day, expect the comforts of home.
Day 2 — September 29, 2022
Following a group breakfast, we board a private motorcoach for sightseeing on our way to Banff, including the Hoodoos rock formations, Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive. We will have a group dinner at Heritage Park Historical Village, where friendly townsfolk in full period costumes will greet us on the boardwalks, shops, and museums.
Day 3 — September 30, 2022
We will settle in at the Moose Hotel and Suites. A group breakfast is followed by a free day with things to explore such as the Banff Gondola, where you can see six different mountain ranges.
Day 4 — October 1, 2022
We will have another group breakfast and then depart for a full-day tour of Banff and Yoho National Parks. There will be a group lunch at Emerald Lake Lodge, and an evening meal at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Day 5 — October 2, 2022
Today, we transfer from the Fairmont to the train station for a full day on the Rocky Mountaineer. There will be an evening arrival in Kamloops, where we will have moderate accommodations in preparation for our departure the next morning on the train once again.
Day 6 — October 3, 2022
Travel from Kamloops to Vancouver aboard the Rocky Mountaineer.
We will have a 7 a.m. departure from the hotel to the train. Today may be the highlight of your week, as the train travels through forests, along rivers, canyons all the way to the coast. Breakfast and lunch will be served on board. We will arrive in Vancouver by 7:30 p.m. and check in at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel.
Day 7 — October 4, 2022
After having had a relaxing evening at the Sheraton Wall Centre and a group breakfast, we will take a sightseeing tour of the North Shore as well as the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain Skyride.
Day 8 — October 5, 2022
This will be our day to explore one of the most beautiful cities in North America and then head home. We will provide numerous opportunities for extra time and extensions in this area.
