​We will begin our adventure with two nights in Prague, one of Europe's most beautiful and well-preserved cities, with a fairy-tale skyline of Gothic spires, baroque and Art Nouveau architecture, and the iconic Charles Bridge spanning the Vltava River. We will enjoy wandering the charming Old Town, exploring Prague Castle, and relaxing in lively cafés and traditional Czech pubs.

Starting the river cruise in Bavaria, we will visit three of Europe’s most charming capitals: Vienna, the metropolis of waltz, Bratislava, the capital of coronation, and Budapest, the "Paris of the East." Not all guests will cycle. Some will enjoy the sites and sounds of the river cruise itself. For those biking, the paved bike tours lead you to the romantic, Great Loop, the picturesque Danube Bend and the legendary Wachau valley, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage with with its small villages, beautiful palaces, castles and vineyards, featuring Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners--before arriving in Budapest.

Pre-Cruise Prague Itinerary

Begin your European adventure with a stay in the enchanting city of Prague, one of Europe's most beautiful and historic capitals. From May 13–15, 2027, enjoy a perfect blend of culture, history, and local cuisine as you experience a memorable medieval dinner with live entertainment, explore Prague's iconic landmarks on a guided sightseeing tour, savor authentic Czech specialties on an included $160 food tour, and take a scenic cruise along the picturesque Vltava River. On the afternoon of May 15, depart by private coach for Passau, Germany, where you'll board the vessel and officially begin your unforgettable Danube bike and river cruise adventure.

Day 1: May 13 | Thursday

Arrival in Prague

Welcome to the enchanting city of Prague, where your European adventure begins. Upon arrival at Prague Airport, you'll be met and transferred by private coach to your hotel. After checking in at 3:00 PM, enjoy time to relax or explore the city at your own pace. Guests may also choose to join an optional Jewish Heritage Tour.                          (available independently at additional cost).

This evening, step back in time during a memorable Medieval Dinner Experience. Travel by private coach to a historic tavern where you'll enjoy a traditional feast accompanied by live medieval entertainment, including musicians, sword fighters, and jugglers. After an unforgettable evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Prague.

Day 2: May 14 | Friday

Discover the Highlights of Prague

After breakfast, set out on a half-day guided sightseeing tour of one of Europe's most beautiful capitals. Visit Prague's iconic landmarks, including Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the charming Lesser Town, the historic Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and the world-famous Astronomical Clock.

Enjoy free time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon Prague Food Tour, where you'll sample traditional Czech cuisine and discover local culinary favorites while exploring the city's vibrant neighborhoods. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, with dinner on your own (if you are still hungry)  and another overnight stay in Prague.

Day 3: May 15 | Saturday

 River Cruise & Transfer to Passau

Begin the day with a relaxing one-hour sightseeing cruise on the Vltava River, offering spectacular views of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the city's stunning historic skyline. Following the cruise, return to the hotel to check out at 11 AM and grab a bit before we depart ar 12:15 PM.

We will depart by private coach for Passau, Germany, a scenic journey of approximately 137 miles, taking about 4 hours with a comfort stop along the way. Upon arrival in Passau, board the MS Lisabelle and settle into your cabin before your Danube cycling and river cruise adventure officially begins. Enjoy the Captain's Welcome Cocktail and your first dinner onboard as the ship prepares to set sail.

Danube Bike Tour and River Cruise Itinerary

The Danube by Bike & Boat Experience takes place from May 15 to May 22, 2027

Featuring an 8-day / 7-night bike and boat journey from the "Bavarian Venice" through the heart of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. This unforgettable adventure combines scenic cycling with the comfort of a river cruise, only unpacking once. Accommodations aboard feature comfortable cabins, elegant outdoor spaces, exceptional onboard service, delicious regional cuisine, and a variety of entertainment and enrichment programs, creating the perfect balance of active exploration and relaxing river cruising.

Day 1: May 15 | Saturday

Passau – Embarkation

Welcome to Passau, the charming "City of Three Rivers," where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz meet. Boarding begins at 4:00 PM, giving you time to settle into your comfortable cabin before your journey begins. Passau has colorful baroque architecture, and cobblestone streets. As evening falls, your floating hotel sets sail, offering beautiful views. As Passau's historic skyline slowly disappears into the distance, we mark  the beginning of your unforgettable Danube adventure. Dinner is served onboard this evening.

Day 2: May 16 | Sunday

Great Loop | Engelhartszell to Aschach • Approx. 23 miles

Wake up to your first day of cycling through one of the Danube's most scenic stretches. Beginning in Engelhartszell, home to Austria's only Trappist monastery, you'll ride along the spectacular Danube Great Loop, where the river winds through lush forests, rolling hills, and peaceful farming villages. This breathtaking section offers countless photo opportunities and charming cider taverns where you can sample local specialties along the way. Your ride concludes in the delightful riverside town of Aschach, where you'll rejoin your ship and continue cruising through the evening.

Day 3: May 17 | Monday

Devin to Bratislava • Approx. 28 miles

Today's ride combines fascinating history with beautiful countryside as you cycle along the former Iron Curtain into Slovakia. Pass the elegant Imperial Palace of Hof with its beautifully landscaped gardens before following dedicated bike paths through fertile farmland known as Austria's "vegetable garden." Soon you'll arrive in Bratislava, Slovakia's charming capital, where medieval streets, colorful squares, and historic landmarks await. Spend time exploring the city's hidden alleyways and lively cafés, or join an optional guided city tour to discover its rich history and impressive architecture. Your ship remains docked overnight in Bratislava.

Day 4: May 18 | Tuesday

Budapest | Excursion to Szentendre • Approx. 28 miles 

This morning, enjoy a spectacular arrival into Budapest, often called the "Paris of the East." Choose between relaxing onboard, joining an optional city tour, or cycling to the charming riverside village of Szentendre, famous for its Mediterranean atmosphere, colorful buildings, artisan shops, and thriving art scene. Back in Budapest, admire iconic landmarks such as the Parliament Building, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, and the Chain Bridge before enjoying an evening cruise past the city's beautifully illuminated skyline.

Day 5: May 19 | Wednesday

Danube Bend | Szentendre to Esztergom • Approx. 31 miles

Today's ride showcases the breathtaking scenery of Hungary's famous Danube Bend, where forested hills, dramatic river curves, and historic towns create one of the country's most picturesque landscapes. Cycle through the baroque town of Vác, known for its elegant architecture inspired by Empress Maria Theresa, before continuing to Esztergom, Hungary's historic religious capital. Dominating the skyline is the magnificent Esztergom Basilica, the largest Catholic church in Hungary and one of the country's most impressive landmarks. Rejoin your ship this evening as it continues its journey toward Austria.

Day 6: May 20 | Thursday

Vienna – Explore Austria's Imperial Capital

Spend the day exploring elegant Vienna, a city renowned for its imperial history, grand architecture, and vibrant café culture. Join an optional guided bike or coach tour to visit highlights including the Hofburg Palace, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the State Opera House, Parliament, City Hall, and the famous Ring Boulevard. You'll also see the colorful Hundertwasser House, one of Vienna's most unique architectural landmarks. During your free time, relax with traditional coffee and pastries at one of Vienna's historic cafés or attend an optional classical concert in one of the city's magnificent palaces for an unforgettable evening.

Day 7: May 21 | Friday

Wachau Valley | Krems to Melk/Pöchlarn • Approx. 25 miles

Your final day of cycling takes you through the enchanting Wachau Valley, one of Austria's most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage regions. Ride past charming wine villages, terraced vineyards, medieval castles, and blooming apricot orchards while following the Danube River. Stop in the picturesque town of Dürnstein, famous for its blue church tower and castle ruins, before continuing toward the magnificent Melk Abbey, one of Europe's finest examples of Baroque architecture. Along the route, enjoy opportunities to visit traditional wine taverns and sample local wines before returning to your ship for your farewell dinner.

Day 8: May 22 | Saturday

Passau – Disembarkation

Enjoy a relaxing breakfast onboard as your ship arrives back in Passau. After one final look at the beautiful Danube scenery, disembark at approximately 11:00 AM. As your memorable bike-and-boat journey comes to an end, depart with wonderful memories of charming riverside villages, historic capitals, scenic cycling routes, and unforgettable experiences along one of Europe's most beautiful rivers. We've included transfers to Munich, about 3 hours away.

Located on the Middle and Upper Decks, the Superior Cabin offers approximately 151 square feet of comfortable living space, featuring a convertible double bed, a French balcony with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, and modern amenities.

Welcome to Reykjavík

Welcome to Iceland, the Land of Fire and Ice! Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, you'll be met by your private driver and transferred to the heart of Reykjavík, Iceland's charming capital city. After checking into the elegant Hotel Borg, the remainder of the evening is yours to relax or begin exploring Reykjavík's colorful streets, unique architecture, boutique shops, and vibrant culinary scene at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel Borg.

Day 2: May 23 | Sunday

The Snæfellsnes Peninsula

After breakfast, set out with your private driver-guide for a full-day exploration of the breathtaking Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called "Iceland in Miniature" for its incredible diversity of landscapes. Visit the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain, one of Iceland's most photographed landmarks, admire the picturesque black church of Búðakirkja, and stroll through the charming coastal village of Arnarstapi, where dramatic sea cliffs and basalt rock formations create spectacular scenery. Return to Reykjavík this evening for another overnight stay at Hotel Borg.

Day 3: May 24 | Monday

The Golden Circle

Today's journey showcases Iceland's most famous natural wonders along the legendary Golden Circle. With your private guide, visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Enjoy lunch at the renowned Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where tomatoes are grown in geothermal greenhouses. The farm also features the cute Icelandic horses! Continue to the Geysir Geothermal area to witness bubbling hot springs and the erupting Strokkur geyser before marveling at the powerful Gullfoss Waterfall. This evening, check in to the beautiful Hotel Rangá, for two nights. (This gorgeous countryside retreat is included at $440 per night and goes for over $600 nightly a week later).

Day 4: May 25 | Tuesday

South Coast Adventure

Explore Iceland's spectacular South Coast, home to some of the country's most iconic landscapes. Visit the magnificent Skógafoss Waterfall before embarking on an exciting E-Bike Black Beach Adventure, riding across dramatic volcanic terrain to the famous DC-3 Plane Wreck on Sólheimasandur Beach. Continue to the charming seaside village of Vík, then experience the striking beauty of Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, known for its towering basalt columns and powerful Atlantic waves. End the day with a visit to the stunning Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, where you can walk behind the cascading water for a truly unforgettable perspective. Return to Hotel Rangá for the evening.

Day 5: May 26 | Wednesday

Reykjanes Peninsula and

Blue Lagoon

This morning, travel with your private guide across the volcanic landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Explore the fascinating Lava Tunnel, where you'll journey through ancient lava formations created by Iceland's volcanic activity. Later, arrive at the world-famous Blue Lagoon, where you can unwind in the soothing geothermal waters surrounded by dramatic lava fields. Spend the evening relaxing at the luxurious Silica Hotel, located beside the Blue Lagoon for an unforgettable final night in Iceland.

Day 6: May 27 | Thursday

Departure, Or choose to extend

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning before your private transfer to the airport. Iceland air, if available, leaves at 4:50p.m. and arrives same-day in Denver at 7 p.m.

The Blue Lagoon itself has numerous  swimming and/or spa options. Make your choices at you own expense.

As your Icelandic adventure comes to an end, depart with unforgettable memories of breathtaking waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black sand beaches, and some of the world's most extraordinary natural landscapes.

Trip Pricing

The Prague Pre-Cruise Experience & Danube Bike and River Cruise is priced at $4,250 per person, based on double occupancy. This package includes the two-night pre-cruise stay in Prague, scheduled sightseeing and dining experiences, private transfers, motor coach transportation to Passau, and the Danube bike and river cruise.

Prices are based on 20 people sharing transfers and guides. Prices could vary with fewer registrants.

Please note that international airfare, travel insurance, optional tours, personal expenses, and any items not specifically listed in the itinerary are not included unless otherwise stated.  The solo price is 40% higher at $5,950.

Post-Cruise Iceland Package Price: $4,250 per person (double occupancy). Based on 20 guests. Price for solo travelers is $6,000.

A non-refundable deposit of $850 per person is required to secure both the Prague Pre-Cruise Experience & Danube Bike and River Cruise and the Post-Cruise Iceland Adventure. Final payment is due by February 1, 2027.

Terms & Conditions

  • Deposit: A deposit is required to reserve your space. All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Pricing: Pricing is based on a minimum of 20 participants. Rates may vary if the minimum group size is not met.

  • Airfare: International and domestic airfare are not included. Airfares are not yet available for purchase and will be quoted closer to departure. Combining airfare arrangements may provide the most cost-effective options.

  • Payment: A 3.5% processing fee applies to all credit card payments. Payment by check or bank draft is preferred to avoid this fee.

  • Cancellation: All cancellations or requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing. Clients are responsible for any non-refundable costs or penalties imposed by hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, or other travel suppliers.

  • Responsibility for Damages: Clients are financially responsible for any damages to accommodations, transportation, or other property, as well as any penalties or fees incurred as a result of their actions during the trip.

  • Price Changes: Prices are subject to change due to currency exchange rate fluctuations, changes in supplier pricing, taxes, government fees, or fuel surcharges prior to final payment.

  • Itinerary Changes: The itinerary is subject to change if necessary due to weather, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond our control. Comparable substitutions will be made whenever possible.
